Bamboo
A cellulose-based fiber made from bamboo. Most bamboo textiles on the market are produced as regenerated cellulose fibers using the viscose or lyocell process rather than being mechanically processed from the bamboo plant. Bamboo fabrics are valued for their soft hand, breathability, moisture absorption, and fluid drape, making them suitable for apparel, bedding, and home textiles. The fiber's environmental impact depends on the manufacturing process, with closed-loop lyocell production generally considered more sustainable than conventional bamboo viscose.
